本研究旨在初步探討大專校院資源教室對視障生進行職涯轉銜輔導之情形。 透過質性研究,對服務於大專校院內視障生在籍人數達十名以上之資深資源教室 輔導人員三名進行深度訪談。訪談資料經由主題分析,結果得出現今大專校院資 源教室在對視障生進行職涯轉銜輔導之活動類型主要為:生涯探索與增能活動。 在具體的作法上主要為:與校內單位合作、提供特殊需求協助、培養工作態度、 協助工讀、連結外部資源、協助校外實習。面臨的挑戰為:視障生態度、視障生 能力、視障生認知、身心障礙學生就學輔導制度、視障者工作機會。在對視障生 職涯轉銜輔導之期待上,資源教室輔導人員指出須重視:視障生、資源教室、充 實視障就業機會三個面向的整體考量。本研究發現,視障生職涯轉銜輔導在大專 校院的推動已相對落實,資源教室不僅在職責範圍內多方對視障生進行各項協助 外,更擔任了對視障生職涯轉銜輔導上資源連結的重要角色。然而,在對視障生 的職涯轉銜輔導上,大專校院資源教室的協助仍有其侷限,未來仍須重視長期性、 系統性、整體性的職涯轉銜輔導考量。最後,本文指出研究限制與建議未來研究 以及實務工作上之方向。
This preliminary study explores how college resource rooms support visually impaired students in their career transitions. Using a qualitative approach, in-depth interviews were conducted with three experienced counselors from colleges where more than ten visually impaired students are enrolled. Thematic analysis of the interview data showed that resource rooms mainly offer two types of career transition activities: career exploration and empowerment programs. Their specific strategies include collaborating with campus departments, providing special needs support, fostering positive work attitudes, assisting with part-time job placements, connecting students to external resources, and supporting off-campus internships. The main challenges identified were students’ attitudes, abilities, and perceptions, as well as limitations in the current support systems and a shortage of employment opportunities for visually impaired individuals. Counselors emphasized the need to focus on three areas for effective career transition support: the development of students, the strengthening of resource room services, and the expansion of job opportunities. The findings suggest that colleges have made noticeable progress in supporting the career transitions of visually impaired students. Resource rooms not only provide various types of assistance but also act as key bridges to external resources. However, some limitations remain. There is still a need for more long-term, systematic, and integrated approaches to career transition. Finally, this study discusses its limitations and offers suggestions for future research and practice.
