教學視導的另類模式-同儕觀察在教育實習中之運用

近年來,多位學者提出以同儕觀察來實踐教學之改善,成為教學視導的新趨勢。同儕之間的互相觀察不僅可以彌補專家視導的不足,並且可以實際地協助教師改善教學中的困難,提升教師之教學效能。因此,研究者在教育實習的過程中,組織十五位實習教師進行同儕觀察活動,以質性研究法,蒐集參與實習教師之反省札記,並訪談其中七位實習教師的活動參與情形與互動經驗,據以探究實習教師參與同儕觀察活動的學習歷程與相關感受。分析結果主要萃取出三項重要主題,其一為同儕互動歷程,其二為專業成長歷程,其三為參與心得與建議。大部分參與者皆肯定同儕觀察活動對其教育實習歷程帶來正面影響。根據研究結果,研究者建議未來各師資培育機構在教育實習課程中可考量採用同儕觀察活動,以加強教學視導的質與量,並提供實習教師更多元的學習。

英文摘要

In recent years, peer observation was proposed to be an effective instructional supervision model. In order to investigate its effects when applied in educational prac-ticum, this study recruited 15 student teachers to participate in the peer observation activity during their educational practicum. The qualitative data included all the participated interns' reflection journals and interviews of 7 interns. The results included three major parts: the first part presented interns' interactions with peers, the second part presented the professional growth they perceived, and the third part presented their suggestions toward peer observation as a required activity in educational practicum. Most of the participants recognized the positive influences of peer observation. According to the results, it was suggested that teacher education institutions could adopt this peer observation activity in educational practicum to enhance the quality of instructional supervision and to provide interns another perspective of learning.
