This article will explain the spatial significance of Xiu Yuan in order to explore the connection between the virtues, ethics, and philanthropic practices praised by traditional literati. Moreover, it will further interpret how "Monographs of Yangzhou Xu Garden" depicts the profound memory images of the Zheng family in both public and private domains. Finally, by contemplating The Monographs of Yangzhou Xu Garden, the article explores the significance of the garden as a form of "family discourse" at that time. It aims to view the familial consciousness and connotations of the scholar-bureaucrat in the Ming and Qing dynasties.
