(一)《說文》「𩅀」訓寒也，《說文》「蓻」訓艸木不生也，治《說文》諸家 說人人殊，至有欲改字以曲從己說者。本文通過同源詞的考察，指出从「執」之 字多有下義，「𩅀」指霜雪早降，故有寒義;「蓻」當訓「艸木下生」，「不」為「下」 形譌。「艸木下生」謂艸木濕生，低下處所生者也。濕生之艸木必繁多，故《玉 篇》云「艸木生皃」。(二)《說文》「𢗊」訓忽也，「忦」訓憂也 ，治《說文》諸 家說亦人人殊，認為二字不同。本文指出「忦」、「𢗊」二字是異體，是《說文》 重出之字。訓釋詞「忽」是憂懼義。

I. Dian(𩅀)is explained as cold in Shuo Wen Jie Zi. Zi(蓻)is explained as no trees in Shuo Wen Jie Zi. Scholars who study Shuo Wen Jie Zi have different opinions, some even change the word to match their own opinions. Through the investigation of cognate words, this paper points out that the word composed of “zhi(執)” often has the meaning of “xi(a 下)”. Dian(𩅀)means frost and snow fall early, so it means cold. Zi(蓻)is explained as “grass and trees grow down”. “Bu(不)” is the error writing of “xia(下)”. “Grass and trees grow down” means grass and trees grow in damp and low places. The wet place must be full of grass and trees, so Yu Pian said “ grass and trees grow”. II.Xie(𢗊)is explained as ignore in Shuo Wen Jie Zi. Jia(忦)is explained as sad. Scholars who study Shuo Wen Jie Zi have different opinions, they think the two words are different. This paper points out that the two words are the same. Xie (𢗊)must be explained as sad.
