橫山書法藝術館的永續發展策略分析:以「未究之境-書法中的客家敘事」展覽為例

橫山書法藝術館(以下稱書藝館),位於桃園市大園區,是臺灣首座由政府官方經營的書法藝術主題博物館。自2021年10月開館以來,書藝館一直在展覽、教育、文化推廣及書法藝術研究中創新發展。本文聚焦於書藝館為配合桃園世界客家博覽會主題「天光日个客家」,於2023年8月11日至10月30日舉辦的「未究之境-書法中的客家敘事」展覽。該展覽從臺灣客家人口最集中的桃園和新竹地區出發,展示自20世紀初至當代(1917-2023)的書法藝術作品,包括來自41位書法藝術家的47組作品,呈現客家人的生活和智慧。 本文採用文獻分析法,深入分析展覽的6組件作品,分別從「國家論述」、「公民論述」及「市場論述」角度觀察。研究發現這些作品和聯合國「永續發展目標」(SDGs)之間存在緊密聯繫,尤其是在文化保存和推廣、文化認同、社區參與及永續發展。最後,提出「政府應對地方博物館提供全面支持」、「協助書藝館獲得客家文化保存及其他財政補助」、「強化書藝館和社區的緊密合作」及「推動社區教育和民眾參與活動」等四項建議,希望有助於推動書藝館等文化機構在永續發展方面取得更多進展。

英文摘要

The Hengshan Calligraphy Art Museum (referred to as the Calligraphy Museum), located in the Dayuan District of Taoyuan City, Taiwan, stands as Taiwan's inaugural government-operated museum dedicated to the art of calligraphy. Since its inauguration in October 2021, the museum has continually focused on exhibitions, education, cultural promotion, and innovative developments in calligraphy research. This study delves into the exhibition titled "A Dimension to be Found - Hakka Narratives in Calligraphy," held from August 11 to October 30, 2023, in alignment with the theme of the Taoyuan World Hakka Expo, "Travel to Tomorrow." Originating from the densely Hakka-populated regions of Taoyuan and Hsinchu in Taiwan, the exhibition showcases calligraphy works spanning from the early 20th century to contemporary times (1917-2023). Curated by 41 calligraphers, the exhibition presents 47 sets of works, offering profound insights into Hakka life and wisdom. This paper employs a literature analysis approach, deeply examining 12 selected works from the exhibition through the lenses of "National Discourse," "Citizen Discourse," and "Market Discourse." The research reveals a strong connection between these artworks and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in the domains of cultural preservation and promotion, cultural identity, community engagement, and sustainable development. In conclusion, six recommendations are proposed: "Establish Long-term Support Policies," "Promote Cultural Education Programs," "Expand Community Participation and Interaction," "Initiate Youth Education Initiatives," "Develop Diverse Economic Models," and "Highlight Hakka Cultural Branding." These suggestions aim to propel cultural institutions like the Calligraphy Museum towards greater progress in sustainable development.
