This research investigates innovative implementations of technology, focusing on the "AccessKit" project at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculptural Garden. Through interviews with exhibition curators and museum professionals, the research discusses and analyzes how visual art museums develop and apply technology innovations to create diverse and creatively accessible experiences. The study aims to explore how these initiatives positively impact the visiting experience and meaning-making for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community in the context of time-based media art while simultaneously enriching the overall museum experience for all visitors. The analysis reveals that integrating innovative technological implementations in visual art museums contributes to empowering and enhancing multisensory experiences for all visitors, including those deaf and hard of hearing. However, throughout the development process, museums must continuously face the emergence of new technologies and actively address corresponding challenges to ensure that their services can constantly innovate and effectively meet the diverse needs of audiences, thus realizing a positive and sustainable form of accessibility in art museums.
