影響我國研究生不當研究行為的因素探討

近年來,「不當研究行為」讓社會付出極大的代價,亦受到各界廣泛重視。本研究在探討影響我國研究生不當研究行為的因素,根據相關文獻彙整個人、情境和社會等三個面向因素來探討影響研究生不當研究行為,並建立模式。以自編問卷進行調查研究,385位研究生為調查對象,問卷有效回收率96%。資料分析採用項目分析、因素分析與結構方程式。結果發現:1.研究生是否「知道學校有研究倫理相關規範」會正向影響不當研究行為;2.「知覺同儕的不當研究行為」會正向影響不當研究行為;3.研究生的「學業壓力」會正向影響不當研究行為;4.建立影響研究生「不當研究行為因素」的修正模式。整體而言,研究結果將有助於瞭解並預測研究生發生不當研究行為之原因。

英文摘要

During the past decades, our society suffered considerable losses from research misconduct. As a result, the importance of research misconduct has been widely advocated. This study intended to understand the influential factors of graduate students’ research misconduct, discuss how individual, situational and social factors have effects on their research misconduct, gain a better understanding about what kind of role that the individual, situational and social factors play in the graduate students’ research misconduct, and establish a model. By using a self-developed research misconduct questionnaire, the researcher surveyed 385 graduate students with a respondent rate of 96%. Data collected were analyzed with item analysis, factor analysis and structural equation model (SEM). The results showed that: (1) Graduate students’knowledge about research ethical norms of their universities tended to positively influence their research misconduct; (2) Their peers’ research misconduct would positively influence graduate students’own research misconduct.; (3) The academic pressure of graduate students would positively influence their research misconduct. Based on the findings, a model of graduate students’ research misconduct was established and modified. In general, the results of the present study helped to understand and predict graduate students’ research misconduct.
