體現與體驗──「自然書寫」主題教學的通識教育意涵

本論文旨在通過「體現」與「體驗」兩個核心概念,闡述「自然書寫」作為國文課程的教學主題所實現的通識教育意涵。由於本論文的問題意識乃從通識教育現場出發,筆者採取質性研究法,結合理念與實務兩方面進行描述、分析、詮釋。全文共分為五節:第一節是為「前言」,說明筆者基於「地方」不同於「地景」的問題意識,規劃以「自然書寫」為國文課程教學主題的緣起;第二節「體現──自然書寫的實踐向度」,從當代生態倫理思潮、身體美學與文化地理學的視野,以「體現」為核心概念,討論臺灣當代自然書寫的實踐精神及其內涵;第三節「體驗──自然書寫課程的規劃」,說明以「體驗」作為行動學習的核心概念,落實於課程目標、教學策略、課程大綱、作業設計、評量方式等方面的具體規劃;第四節「再體現──自然書寫課程的行動學習成果」,說明學生學習此一課程後所發生的改變,檢討自然書寫課程實施所達到的具體成果;最後,「結語」總結歸納「自然書寫」課程所實現的通識教育意涵。 

英文摘要

This paper elaborates the thought and practice on the general education course of  "Nature Writing". It focuses on two core concepts: "embodiment" and "experience". The author would like to emphasize that through the reading Taiwanese contemporary nature writing and action learning, the students’ aesthetic accomplishment will be increased, their awareness for environmental ethics will be raised, and the holistic education will be truly practiced. The author adopts a qualitative research approach, combining theory and practice, to describe, analyze and interpret the topics in question.
The article is divided into five sections:
I. “The Preface” explains the origin of "nature writing" as a teaching theme in Chinese Literature, keeping in mind the difference between "places" and "landscapes"
II. "Embodiment – the practical dimensions of nature writing." With "embodiment" as the core concept and contemporary eco-ethics, body aesthetics and cultural geography as a framework, the author discusses the practical spirit and substance of  Taiwanese contemporary nature writing.
III. “Experience – the curriculum design of Nature Writing.” The author explains that “experience”, as the core concept of action learning, should be incorporated into the specific planning of curriculum goals, teaching strategies, syllabus design, job design, and evaluation methods.
IV. “Re-embodiment –“the outcomes of action learning in Nature Writing.” The author describes the change of the students in this course, and reviews the results achieved through the implementation of “Nature Writing”.
V. “The Conclusion” summarizes the educational significance of "Nature Writing".
