新住民母親與身心障礙者父親共組家庭之親職教養困境與需求研究

本研究旨在探討新住民母親與身心障礙者父親共組家庭之親職角色,並評析父母既已面臨哪些教養困境與需求。研究對象係身心障礙者及其太太、身心障礙者女兒老師及身心障礙者姐姐,研究者乃針對前述人員進行深度訪談研究,研究發現:(一)教養困境:1.新住民母親因無法理解及使用中文艱澀抽象語句,以致指導子女課業呈現困難;2.新住民母親進修補校,導致投入教養子女時間不足;3.新住民母親獲得資訊能力不足,常易錯失重要教養資源;4.視障者父親伴隨身體不適,形成教養力不從心;5.父親障礙因素形成母親身兼數職教養困境;6.夫妻各自健康因素影響工作機會,家庭經濟能力不足會形成教育費用缺乏的教養困難;7.夫妻缺乏即時獲取訊息及支持資源等教養困境。(二)教養需求:1.需要學校老師或校外安親班提供額外課程輔導;2.進修補校需要安親托育之照顧服務;3.需要政府提供配偶多元職種的職訓機會及就業輔導,以因應生活與基本教養支出;4.需要政府提供協助視障配偶教養子女喘息支援服務的需求;5.需要全方位學校及社會支持系統,以拓展他們教養新知。根據研究發現與結論,研究者針對政府機關、新住民女性、新住民家庭身障父親家人、一般國小教師及未來研究方向等提出相關建議。

英文摘要

This study aims to explore the parental roles of a family with a new immigrant mother and a father with disability and to comment on teaching and raising needs of both parents having faced on. The research subjects are the father with disability, his wife, his daughter’s teacher, and his elder sister. The researchers conducted in-depth interviews. The results are: 1) Difficulties of teaching and raising. 1. The new immigrant mother can not use complicated wording and lack the ability to supervise the child’s school work. 2. The new immigrant mother attended school, so the time for teaching and raising is insufficient. 3. The parents do not have suitable ability to receive the information, so important resources were missed. 4. The father’s health does not allow him to take care of teaching and raising. 5. The mother does most of the parental duty due to the father’s disability. 6. The health factor of both parents affects the job opportunity. The lack in the education fee caused the difficulty in teaching and raising. 7. The lack in information hinders the update of support resource for parents. 2) Teaching and raising needs. 1. Extra assistances in curriculum from school or after-school teachers are needed. 2. After-school cares are needed due to attending school of the mother. 3. Multiple job-training and employment assistances from the government are needed. 4. Assitance to the family in order to have some rest. 5. The supports from school and society are needed in order to develop their knowledge in teaching and raising. Based on the the results and conclusions, the researchers provide suggestions for the government, the new female residents, the relatives of new Immigrant family from the disabled father, general elementary school teachers and future research directions.
