通識課程的創新;對話及實踐,有助於提升學生的學習,本研究以 「大學入門」課程為例。本研究目的旨在提供任教新生專題課程教師有關教 與學之實務,包含課程單元主題;內容介紹;活動課程設計;及課程評量。 研究對象為個案大學通識教育課程-大學入門課程20位學生。結果發現,透 過本課程有助於學生多元智能的表現,學生可從中思考;對話與應用,除了 在課堂上獲得知識外,更能激發學生自我學習的意願。最後,本研究針對上 述研究結果進行討論提出實務意涵,作為大學校院通識課程教師在教學與後 續相關研究的參考。
“Introduction to university studies” was taken as an example to illustrate that the course design innovation, dialogue and practice of general education curriculum is helpful for students’ learning. The subjects of this study are 20 college students who take the general education course “Introduction to University Studies” in the case university. The primary purpose of this study is to provide teachers in charge of freshman seminar program in general education courses, with the development of teaching contents, the course topics, content, activity curriculum, the report of personal and term homework, and the course assignment and assessments. Introduction to University Studies curriculum helps students improve the performance of multiple intelligences. Through this course, students can learn thinking, dialogue and application, in addition to access to accumulating knowledge in class, and stimulating students’ will of self-study. It is hoped that the findings and conclusions of this study can serve as a useful reference for instructors of general education courses for research or teaching purpose.
