本人曾於 1994 年發表〈近代漢語的唇音合口問題〉一文，主張《中原音韻》的齊微、真文、歌戈和桓歡四個韻部的唇音字具有合口介音 u，雖然這些唇音字並沒有開口字跟它們相對立。當時的證據主要是《蒙古字韻》、《古今韻會舉要》、《四聲通解》和現代漢語方言。本文將繼續證明這一問題，材料主要是明清時代的韻圖等，並討論與此有關的音位學問題。

The problem of closed labials in Old Mandarin, another article of the author, published in 1994, demonstrated the existing of the closed medial u in the labials of the four rhymes in Zhongyuan Yinyun (中原音韻), i.e. qiwei (齊微), zhenwen (真文), gege (歌戈) and huanhuan (桓歡), although these labials have no open medial contrasting with it. The proof mainly came from the works such as Menggu Ziyun (蒙古字韻), Gujin Yunhui Juyao (古今韻會舉要), Sisheng Tongjie (四聲通解) and some modern Chinese dialects. This articles continues the proof further, provides the data found in some rhyme tables of the Ming and Qing dynasties, and also discusses some phonological issues related to the problem.
