辛鼎銘文雖然簡短，但其文句卻不易理解。本文將辛鼎銘文重新釋讀為：「辛乍（作）寶，其亡（無）彊（疆），厥家■（雝），德■（吳），用厥㓷、多友，㓷、多友（賚）辛，萬年唯人。」銘文意思是：辛作了寶鼎，希望壽命長久、家庭和睦、德行盛大，因此宴饗（或喜樂）他的僚屬和朋友。（他的）僚屬和朋友們也賜福辛，長壽萬年

Although Xin Ding inscription is short, its content and structure are of great significance. In the past, scholars had many different understandings of Xin Ding inscriptions. This paper holds that the inscription means: Xin make a treasure ding, hoping for a long life, harmonious family and great virtue, so he feasted (or rejoiced) his colleagues and friends. His colleagues and friends also favour Xin with a long life.
