本研究旨在探討諮商與心理治療研究中所涉及之相關倫理問題。本文採文獻分析方式，依次以壹、前言；貳、研究者的責任與當事人的福祉；參、知後同意的倫理問題；肆、欺騙的倫理問題；伍、控制組的倫理問題；陸、保密與隱私權的倫理問題；柒、研究報告的倫理問題；捌、結語等八章對此一問題加以探究。 第壹章，前言，旨在說明問題背景及筆者之研究動機與目的。第貳章，研究者的責任與當事人的福祉，旨在對諮商與心理治療研究中所引發歷來對倫理問題的關切加以分析，並進一步對研究者應負的責任及當事人應被保障的福祉加以探討。 第參章，知後同意的倫理問題，乃在探討有關受試者在參與諮商和心理治療研究時，所應被尊重之知後同意權。 第肆章，欺騙的倫理問題，乃在探討在研究中涉及對受試者的欺騙所引發之倫理爭議及兩難情境。 第伍章，控制組的倫理問題，主要在探討在實驗研究中設置一個不加處理的控制組而涉及的倫理難題。 第陸章，保密與隱私權的倫理問題，主要在探討研究中涉及對當事人的隱私及結果資料保密的問題。 第柒章，研究報告的倫理問題，則旨在探討涉及研究報告的撰寫及出版榮譽歸屬的倫理考慮。 第捌章，結語，旨在針對全文內容加以統整，並從一、政府部門方面，二、專業學會方面，三、各大學及研究機構方面，四、在專業研究人員方面等各層面提出可行的建議及努力的方向。

The purpose of this study is to discuss the ethical issues in research on counseling and psychotherapy. Literature review was analyzed to explore these issues in eight chapters. In Chapter one, preface, the background of the problem and purpose of this study are clarified. In Chapter two, the history of concerns on ethical problems in research are analyzed, and the responsibilities of researchers and the welfare of clients are discussed. In Chapter three, the ethical issues on informed consent are explored. In Chapter four, the ethical dilemma on deception in research are analyzed. In Chapter five, the ethical problems regarding control group in experimental research are exammed. In Chapter six, the issues on confidentiality and privacy in research are discussed. In Chapter seven, the ethical consideration on reporting and publication of research are presented. In Chapter eight, conclusion suggestions for actions were proposed as follows: 1.the legislation of "National Research Act". 2. the establishment of "guideline for protection of human subjects". 3. the specification of "Ethical principles in the conduct of research with human participants". 4. the development and implementation of professional trainning program on research methodology and ethics. 5. the operation of "human subjects review committees". 6. the adoption of self-monitoring, peer consultation or supervision by experts.
