Satir 向 Moreno 學習來的家庭雕塑技術，可以運用在伴侶與家族治療、個別與團體諮商外，也是團體督導非常好用的技術，家庭雕塑的歷程對受督者與團督成員的幫助為：

 （一） 有助於團督成員練習探索、瞭解個案家庭系統的動力。

（二） 可增進團督成員對家庭系統如何製造或維持個案適應困難行為的瞭解。

（三） 可增進團督成員對個案與家庭成員的同理心，以利建立諮商輔導關係。

（四） 可增進團督成員對諮商輔導關係的洞察與個人議題對諮商輔導關係與歷程影響的覺察。

（五） 可以雕塑出影響個案與受督者雙方的生態系統，進而處理這些系統與資源的矛盾衝突。

Satir’s technique of family sculpture, learned from Moreno, can be applied in couple, family, individual and group therapy. It is also an optimal technique for group supervision. The supervisee and group supervision members can benefit from the process of family sculpturing for the following reasons:

1. It helps group supervisees to practice the exploration and understanding of a client’s family dynamics.

2. It helps group supervisees to understand how a family system creates or maintains a client’s difficult coping behavior.

3. It increases supervisees’ empathy to a client and his/her family members, and this facilitates the counseling relationship.

4. It enhances supervisees’ insight into a counseling relationship and the awareness how personal issues influence the relationship and counseling process.

5. We can sculpture the ecosystems which influence both the client and the supervisee and mediate the systems’ conflicts and resources.
