「詩小說」,是以意象稠密的詩語言,意象迴環的園轉結構,延展著虛實相生、時空跳轉的曲折情節。在簡政珍〈放逐與口水的年代〉詩小說中,以意象呼應著「死亡」事件的脈絡;以意象牽引著「語言」的情節鋪排:以留下或是離去擺盪著雙方的衝突與和解。以「悲劇喜感」的詩藝,體現出政治隱喻的全球化關懷。

英文摘要

“Poetic Novel” in general builds its false and true and uncertain space-time’s intricate plot with the poetic language of dense imagery as well as the spherical structure of circular imagery. In Jian Zheng-zhen’s poetic novel The Era of Spit and Exile, it applied imagery to respond the event of “death” and to direct the plot arrangement of “language”. It also suggested the question focusing on whether one should stay or leave to emphasize the conflict and reconciliation. Finally, it used the poetic beauty of “humor of the tragedy” to express the metaphorical political concern to the whole world.
