晉文公的伯業所以建立，在一定的程度上，其身邊的從亡之士發揮了舉足輕重的影響力。沒有這批隨亡從臣的長期調教與群策群力，晉文公是絕對無法飛上枝頭成就伯主氣候的。尤其文公流亡十九年，嘗遍人情冷暖，看盡世態炎涼，其返國嗣君的意志已消蝕大半。幸虧從亡之士的生命力挺與智謀韜略的謀動，燃起文公的鬥志，促使文公的政治生涯走向巔峰。若忽略從亡人士的動態，就無法掌握晉文公伯業的圖象。對此，從亡人士焉能不察！

英文摘要

Why can the Emperor－ Duke W eng of Jin’s（晉文公） territory be built? It was built on the influential retinues beside him. Without their long－ term teachings and efforts－ Duke W eng of Jin’s couldn’t be the emperor. Especially, he was exiled from the country for 19 years. Meanwhile he experienced great hardships. He was unwilling to be the emperor. Fortunately, the support and wisdom of the retinues light his will of fight. It made Duke Weng of Jin’s political career come to the climax. If we ignore the roles of the retinues, we can’t see clearly and understand his dominion. Therefore, we must notice the importance of the retinues.
