本文旨在討論「鄭莊公寤生」、「謂之鄭志」、「不言出奔難之也」三點。「寤生」，杜預以為「寐寤已生」，學者多以為「難產」，實以杜說為長。「鄭志」，歷來以為「鄭伯之志」，非，應為「鄭人之志」。「不言出奔難之也」，或釋「難言其奔」、或釋「難於下筆」，非。本文先明何謂「出奔」，繼明叔段奔共不符「出奔」之條件。故「難之」者，謂鄭莊公刁難也。本文論此三點，並略論相關經學問題云。

This article deals with three issue on the duke of Cheng Chuang: Cheng Chuang’s trouble birth, the so-called intention of Cheng Chuang, elusive writing about his exile. Tu Yu considers Cheng was born while his mother was in sleep, the other scholars is the opinion that his mother had trouble in giving his birth. The so-called Cheng-chih is regarded that it was the intention of Cheng Chuang, and not that of the people of Cheng Regarding to his exile, scholars also have different opinions. This article is to deal with these three issues.
