本文嘗試從致用的角度為建構戰後臺灣政治思想史提供若干觀點，並自評其可行性與重大侷限：（一）出於政治學之本旨的政治思想史研究與教學的目的乃在於檢視與批判政體運作及其作用於日常生活的策略與效果；（二）政體類型牽引著政治思想史研究與教學的任務，民主政體中的政治思想史研究與教學乃在於使國民認識受政體作用而構成之多重層次的自己，並具充足能力至少出於避禍或不為惡的考量不成為政體運作的受害者與加害者。（三）以民法親屬編之「變」與「不變」為例，說明以管理身體之成文法如何作為戰後臺灣政治思想史的材料，及身體如何受政體之作用而進行政治言說，並試以「立法與再現」之差距與扭曲為批判政體運作之依據。

From a pragmatic view, this essay struggles to provide several positive opinions for constructing the field of ‘history of political thought of Post-war Taiwan’ and to review their benefits and restrictions. First, one of the purposes of the study of politics for history of political thought is to assess critically the strategies and tactics of operation of regime and their comprehensive impacts on the everyday life of the people. Second, the category of regime has driven and shaped the studies and teachings of history of political thought for two purposes: (1) achieving and consolidating the normal character of regime and (2) preventing the inhabitants from becoming a victim and a offender for the services of regime. Third, taking the amendments of chapter of kin of ROC Civil Code as an example, the constant concern toward the birth and nurture of every person from the intricate forces of regime has produced a perpetual reality in everyday life that human body has been a field, medium, strategy, tactics, effect and outcome of “the political”, and should be regarded as a kind of essential materials which may incorporated into the studies and teachings of history of political thought.
