背景:運動中以碳水化合物溶液進行增補可以提升耐力運動表現。然而,先前研究指出,以碳水化合物溶液漱口的方式,可藉由刺激舌頭上味覺受體細胞,活化大腦與中樞神經系統,降低疲勞感覺,促進運動表現。目的:透過蒐集與分析相關文獻,探討有關碳水化合物溶液漱口對於隨後運動表現之影響,及其可能機轉。結語:在運動前禁食2小時以上,進行60-90分鐘的中高強度腳踏車或跑步運動,於運動前與運動中使用6-8%葡萄糖溶液或6.4-10%麥芽糊精溶液漱口10秒,可能有助於提升耐力運動表現。

英文摘要

Background: Ingesting carbohydrate solution during exercise has benefits to endurance performance. Previous studies have reported that the mouth rinsing of carbohydrate during endurance exercise without ingestion could enhance performance due to stimuli are detected by taste receptor cells on the tongue, which activate the brain and central nervous system, and ameliorate the perception of fatigue. Purpose: Using the relevant literature collection and analysis, this review focused on the performance response to simply having carbohydrate in the mouth and potential mechanisms. Summary: After fasting more than 2 hours prior to exercise, mouth rinsing of 6-8% glucose or 6.4-10% maltodextrin solution for 10 seconds before or during moderate to high intensity cycling or running exercise (approximately 60-90 minutes) may improve endurance performance.
