Since entering the 20th century, a large number of unearthed oracle bone scripts and the maturity of research on bronze inscriptions have prompted scholars to use the unearthed documents to correct and revise ancient documents. A paragraph from “Shang Shu.Document of Shang.Pan Geng Middle Part” that “Those people have all moved here. It can be seen that the flags were flying in the main hall and the people were restless. Pan Geng went up to the heights and greeted these people to be more advanced.” regarding this, scholars mostly use unearthed documents to compare and read. This research discusses the paragraph one by one. The author believes that “move(造)” can be interpreted as “come” by the circulated classics and examples of bronze inscriptions; and “ were restless(勿褻)” means “not focused enough”, which is a form of negligence; then “greeted them to be more advanced(登進厥民)” refers to getting people to board the main hall and start a dialogue with Pan Geng himself.
