曶鼎為西周時期青銅重器，以記載司法案件而聞名，本文在前人的研究基礎 上，以傳世拓本相互比勘，重新檢視曶鼎銘文，細究其中關鍵字句，並結合當時 的禮制與文化背景以為分析，兼述論證人物關係，並就事件始末與作器目的進行 討論。

Hu Ding is an important bronzeware of the Western Zhou Dynasty, known for documenting judicial cases. Building upon previous studies, this research compares the differences between several handed-down rubbings of inscriptions, reexamines the writings on the bronzeware, and analyzes significant characters and sentences. Considering the rituals and cultural settings of the Western Zhou Dynasty, this research establishes the relationship between the characters, event chronicles, and the purpose of creation.
