東周時期的「彝」字異寫繁多，和西周形體的演變關係並不明了。按形體特 征，這些「彝」字異體大致可以分為三類。本文對這三類「彝」字做了形體考論 和溯源，分別考論了第一類「彝」字中的「犬」旁，第二類「彝」字中的「尸」 旁、「彳」旁，第三類「彝」字和傳抄古文「彝」字中的「素」旁、「爪」旁、「米」 旁，以及《厚父》簡等「彝」字的「目」旁等偏旁的來源和演變過程。

The character “彝” has many kinds of variant forms in East Chou, which has not clear relationship to the character form in West Chou. According to the character features,these variant forms can be divided into three kinds mainly.This paper traced the developing process of these variant forms, researching the character components including “犬”, “尸”, “彳”,“素”, “爪”, “米”and “目”.
