甲骨金文中「从」、「比」二字字形相近，容易混淆。對於甲骨文中「从」、 「比」二字字形與用法的區別，學界已有辨析。本文討論了西周金文中「从」、 「比」二字的區別。並嘗試從「字記錄詞」、「詞所用字」兩個角度探討西周金 文中「从」及其異體字字形與用法的時代分布。

In the oracle-bone inscriptions and bronze inscriptions，the written form of “Cong”（从）is similar to “Bi”（比），which is easy to be confused. There has been lots of research on analyzing the differrence of written form and meaning between “Cong”（从）and “Bi”（比）in oracle-bone inscriptions. In this paper，we analyze the differrence of written form and meaning between “Cong”（从）and “Bi”（比） in bronze inscriptions during the Western Zhou Dynasty. Besides，we try to research the time distribution of the relationship between characters and words of “Cong” （从） in bronze inscriptions during the Western Zhou Dynasty， from both “characters record words” and “words use characters” two angles.
