本文針對西周早期〈作冊嗌卣〉銘文難點提出不同釋讀及考辨相關問題。 銘文釋讀部分，是對「亡子＝引有孫」、「不敢夒」、「弋勿嗌鰥寡」等處提出新 的理解，進而討論〈作冊嗌卣〉銘文通讀問題。考辨相關問題部分，則聚焦於 銘文性質的探究以及銘文類型之歸納。主張〈作冊嗌卣〉銘文口吻生動，與一 般銘文用語不同，應是祭祀儀式所用禱辭的直接紀錄，可與《尚書．金縢》、 「唐取婦好」一類卜辭加以比較。本文亦以西周早期的〈它簋〉、西周中期的 〈寡子卣〉以及〈臣諫簋〉三器作為對照，雖知三者與〈作冊嗌卣〉有不同之 處，然可通過橫向對比來認識〈作冊嗌卣〉的銘文性質與類型。

This article offers a new interpretation and discussion of the inscription of Zuoce Yi You（作冊嗌卣）, a vessel dated to Early Western Zhou. The article first provides new explanations of several sentences and thus of the full inscription and then discusses the nature and the categorization of the inscription. The inscription vividly and directly presents a prayer, which can be compared with The Book of Documents and some oracle bone inscriptions. The article also compares the inscription of Zuoce Yi You（作冊嗌卣） and three other Early and Middle Western Zhou vessels to understand the nature and the type of the inscription.
