〈越公其事〉收錄於《清華柒》，共計七十五簡，分為十一章，是該輯裡篇 幅最長的一篇，各章末尾有結尾符。第十一章為全篇最後一章，內容記載勾踐 在勵精圖治後，向吳國展開進攻，包圍姑蘇宮。夫差恐懼，向勾踐求和，不 過，勾踐並沒有答應，但願意將夫差安置於甬句東，令夫差可以安享餘生。不 過夫差辭謝此項安排，表示已無臉面對天下，生死任憑越公處置。 本文針對〈越公其事〉第十一章進行釋讀，先列出釋文(附語譯)，並提出 九則考釋意見，敬請學者專家不吝賜正。

“Yue Gong Qi Shi” is an article included in Tsinghua Bamboo Slips Vol.7. It has total 75 bamboo slips and is divided into 11 chapters. It’s the longest writing in the series, having ending symbols in the end of every chapter. The 11th chapter is the last chapter of “Yue Gong Qi Shi”. It recorded that after GouJian had prepared to govern his country, he was going to attack Wu country and encircling Gu-Su palace. FuChai was so afraid that he sued for peace, but GouJian refused. Although GouJian refused FuChai, he was willing to make FuChai to Yung Gou Dong for FuChai’ s rest of his life. FuChai declined and he felt shame. FuChai said that GouJian can decide FuChai’s life or death. This article is focus on the 11th chapter of “Yue Gong Qi Shi”, translating and explaining the content of it. The author lists the translations and put forward nine textual interpretations. Hope the scholars and experts can give some feedbacks to the author if you have any inspiration.
