唐代文獻多以手抄方式傳承，由於抄寫者書寫習慣不同，或抄寫者對字形 構造理解有別，致使書寫字形不符規範，異體字因而大量產生。異體字充斥， 使人無所適從，字樣學應運興起。 《九經字樣》乃唐代字樣學代表文獻之一，著者唐玄度。該書撰著目的在 於辨析經學典籍文字，訂其訛誤，辨析訛俗字，並為經學典籍文字建立規範， 以供時人後學參考、遵循。 本文旨在揭示《九經字樣》著者唐玄度辨析俗字之依據及方法，進而利用 出土古文字資料，斷其得失，定其是非，論其優劣。惟倉卒成篇，疏漏難免， 尚望大雅君子，不吝賜教。

Most of the literature in the Tang Dynasty were copied by handwriting. Because of writing habits or understandings of the glyph structure were differerent , the characters of the hand copied literature always varied from person to person, so the variant characters could be found easily.Too many variant characters made it difficult to identify, so “Zì Yàng Xué”(字 樣學)emerged. “Jiǔ Jīng Zì Yàng”(九經字樣)is one of the representative “Zì Yàng Xué” literature of the Tang Dynasty. The purpose of the book is to analyze the texts of literature, to correct their mistakes, to discriminate between the popular characters, and to establish norms for the texts of literature, for reference and follow-up. The purpose of this paper is to reveal the basis and method of distinguishing the popular characters by the author “Tang Xuan Duo”, and then use the unearthed ancient texts to judge its right and wrong, and to discuss its merits and demerits.
