軍事文化中的「增強權能」:「短式權能量表」的發展與信效度檢驗
Reliability and Validity of the Brief Empowerment Scale in a Sample of Military Cadets

在過去四十年裡,「權能」被視為心理健康促進的核心價值。然而,很少有研究檢視權能量表。本研究之目的是檢驗宋麗玉(Song, 2006)發展的「權能量表」之信度與效度,並進一步發展「短式權能量表」。本研究的資料來源為「軍校生職業發展研究」之部分樣本,共蒐集1,946位有效樣本,有效回答率達95%。結果顯示,「短式權能量表」有14個項目,包括四個面向:自我效能和內控、外控、人際溝通技巧,以及社會政治行動。軍校正期班學生和軍校二專班學生在「短式權能量表」的效度,因素負荷量分別是0.66~0.94和0.73~0.93。「短式權能量表」的信度在軍校正期班學生為0.88,在軍校二專班學生為0.89。此外,效標關聯效度分析結果顯示此量表與外在效標呈正相關,具良好外在效度。因此,本研究修訂之「短式權能量表」具有良好的信度與效度,足以替代原始版量表,可縮短施測時間,並可針對軍校生權能進行評估。

英文摘要

Over the last four decades, empowerment is regarded as a core value for mental health promotion. However, few studies have examined empowerment scales in practice. The purpose of this study is to examine the reliability and validity of the Empowerment Scale developed by Song (2006), and further to develop a Brief Empowerment Scale. The data source for this study is part of the "Career Development of Military Cadets Study". 1,946 effective samples were collected by using online questionnaire with an effective response rate of 95%. The results showed that the 14-item Brief Empowerment Scale included four factors: self-efficacy and internal control, external control, interpersonal communication skills, and sociopolitical action. The validity of the Brief Empowerment Scale was respectively applied to full-time and junior college military cadets, the factor loadings respectively ranged from 0.66 to 0.94 and 0.73 to 0.93. The reliability of the Brief Empowerment Scale was 0.88 on full-time military cadets and 0.89 on junior college military cadets. Furthermore, the external criterion-related validity analysis results indicated that those two scales were positively correlated with excellent external criterion-related validity. Therefore, the Brief Empowerment Scale in this study demonstrates good reliability and validity, making it suitable to substitute for the original scale. It can shorten the testing time and is applicable for evaluating the empowerment of military cadets.
