政治大學於2007年開始推動政大書院計畫，是國內最早推動「住宿書院」的公立大學之一。該校以書院作為深化通識教育的策略，經過七年的跌撞摸索，累積了相當多的實務經驗。在計畫推動的過程中，該校雖然面臨許多的挑戰，但其策略性回應各種內外阻力的經驗，相當值得吾人參考。本文以局內人的觀點來深入探討政治大學推動政大書院計畫的歷程，並分析該項實驗計畫所面臨的挑戰，最後提出政大經驗在理論與實務上的啟示。

Chengchi University is one of the first public universities with the set-up of the resident college in Taiwan since 2007. Despite the challenges along the way, the implementation of this resident college project sets a great example. This study, based on the experience of the researcher with residential college and general education and literature review, explores the background and process of carrying out 'Chengchi College Project' from 2007-2014. The factors relating to challenges faced over the course of the project and the solutions are also analyzed. Implications of Chengchi University's experience are presented at the end of paper.
