臺灣通識教育三十餘年的發展歷程,取得輝煌成就。其中之一,即黃俊傑教授通識教育理論。黃教授構建了博厚高明、可大可久的通識教育理論體系;深挖傳統儒家教育資源,賦予西方通識教育以鮮明的民族文化內涵和時代色彩;把握臺灣髙等教育尤其是通識教育現實,並融入個人通識教育實踐與情感。黃教授通識教育理論是海峽兩岸通識教育的一面旗幟。
Over the past thirty years, Taiwan has obtained remarkable achievements in the development of General Education. Professor Chun-chieh Huang's General Education theory is one of the highlights. Based on an in-depth study of traditional Confucian educational resources, his theory gives General Education-a concept originated from the West-a distinct Chinese cultural flare and makes it reflect the spirit of the times. Huang's theory also takes into account the reality of Taiwan's higher education, particularly that of General Education, and integrates his own experience and sentiments teaching courses under that category. In sum, Professor Huang's theory is a flagship of General Education in Chinese communities across the Taiwan Strait.
