本文對《周易》《大學》《墨子》《莊子》《韓非子》五書七處文句之疑難，提出新的解釋。其中「格物」、「連獨」、「二缶鍾」為學者聚訟之所；「乾胏、乾 」、「諸侯之慮」、「鞭之、 之」、「毫芒繁澤」，也有嚴肅的譌誤或訓詁等問題。
英文摘要
This essay offers new explanations for seven problematic passages in the following five works: I-ching (Book of Changes), Ta-hsüeh (Great Learning), Mo-tzu, Chuang-tzu, Han-fei-tzu. Heated debates revolve around the passages 格物, 連獨, 二缶鐘, while misinterpretations regarding the meanings of 乾胏, 乾 , 諸侯之慮, 鞭之, 之, and 毫芒繁澤 abound.
