二十世紀最後十年，由於蘇聯解體，美國成為世界上唯一超級強 國，全世界也進入了「後冷戰時代」。許多學者針對後冷戰時代美國 所應扮演的角色提出論點，產生了許多不同的辯論，進而影響美國角 色的定位，包括「良性霸權」、「廉價霸權」與「超強而不主宰」。 本文從美國外交政策的許多表現來提出對於美國外交政策的批判，舉 出許多美國言行不一、自大自私的例證並分析其原因，最後在結論中 提出美國如果繼續追求霸權，最後必遭孤立的下場。

After the disruption of Soviet Union in 1990, America has become the only superpower in the world, which comes into postcold era in later decade. Many scholars propose different kinds of contention toward America’s foreign policy and effect her role in the world stage including the concepts of “benign hegemony”, “hegemony on the cheep”, “preeminent, not dominant”. The writer of this article propose a series of comments on America’s foreign policy by illustrating and analyzing cases in the past and makes a conclusion that America will be isolated if she continues pursuing hegemony interminably.
