本研究以位於南投縣信義鄉之陳有蘭溪流域和社溪上游三個支流為 研究區，利用八個年度的航空照片判讀崩塌與土石流的分布，以及道路 與人為開發的範圍，配合數值地形模型（DTM）分析，探討影響本區邊 坡崩壞的自然與人為因素。影響邊坡災害的因素中，自然因素著重在坡 度、地層種類和颱風地震事件順序的討論；人為因素則包括道路興築和 開墾地，探討人類對自然環境的措施如何影響本區的邊坡穩定性。

This research aims to understand the relationship between slope failures and various natural and human–induced factors in the Hoshe Basin, located in upstream area of the Chenyulan River, Nantou County. Spatial and temporal distributions of slope failures and major types of land–use were interpreted and digitized from 8 sets of aerial photographs. Morphometric analyses were also incorporated. The factors discussed include slope angle, types of strata, road construction and reclaimed slopelands.
