《臺灣省通志稿》與《臺灣省通志》是戰後臺灣所纂修的兩部方 志，在體裁與類目方面多有創新之處，其分類已將圖書館視為臺灣的重 要文化事業項目，採用現代西方的學科觀念分類，在《教育志》中將圖 書館列有專章，針對當時的圖書館事業做詳細的記載。 兩部志書的「圖書館」專章，各由黎澤霖纂修與莊金德整修，比較 兩部志書的體例綱目與內容，可以發現《臺灣省通志》是在《臺灣省通 志稿》原有的基礎上完成整修工作，承繼《臺灣省通志稿》新方志的編 纂內容。 本文的研究，即以該兩部志書的「圖書館」專章為例，分就體例 與綱目的擬定、資料的搜集與運用，進行比較；並嘗試提出理想的志書 「圖書館」專章纂修之建議。

“Taiwansheng Tongzhigao” and “Taiwansheng Tongzhi” are both of the two Taiwan local chronicle in post–war. In terms of genre and category innovation more than traditional chronicle, Added library as an important cultural projects in Taiwan local chronicle. Libraries in Taiwan, the operation affected by government’ s policies is very far–reaching, And social background are closely related, it reflects the product of the times. Both of the two Taiwan local chronicle preserves Taiwan library enterprise material, with collects Taiwan culture achievement the humanities value. The record of events compiles the historical data depends on the library preservation, the library business fit and unfit quality may also include the record of events the chapter, both function supplementary cooperation, complements each other. This paper attempts to explore these two works with regard to the collection and application of historical data, compare their styles of compilation, and try to seek a more ideal style of compilation.
