本論文主旨在論述地理資訊與擴增實境兩項技術應用於臺灣大眾 影視史學研究的可行性。首先，概念上將大眾史學與影視史學合一，將 大眾影視史學（historiophoty for the public）的中文辭彙初淺定義 為「由民眾自行製作並提供相互賞析的歷史性影視資料與其學門」，並 強調人人都有「普及化」的權利，運用各類「影視化」的圖像或史料， 敘述時間洪流中的人、事和景物，並重建與過往記憶相關的史地「情 節」，使其更「親善」於社會大眾的理解與其所熟悉的傳播媒體環境。 其次，分別以上述的普及化、影視化、情節化與親善化等四個面 向，對該兩項技術進行檢視。研究發現，從技術層面而言，地理資訊具 備普及化的網路趨勢、視覺化的圖像效果、情節化的實境模擬與親善化 的時空整合等合乎性；從實務方面而論，擴增實境則依該技術的沿革歷 程與典型範例、重要概念與組成配備及應用領域與實證案例佐證其適用 性。 最後，本研究認為該兩項技術皆具潛能，可為大眾影視史學的推 廣，植基於學術與民間機構甚至個人，促使歷史的書寫不再受限於字紙 的文本記錄，而是可再廣泛地透過一般民眾熟悉的影視媒介，藉群體共 識積極鼓舞風潮，將各自親身體驗或腦海中的印象、記憶與經驗，製作 成可供觀賞與交流的音像紀錄，如同所有相關網站所公布的影片一般， 加以匯集後建置成為「臺灣影視檔案資料庫」，為臺灣大眾影視史學共 創新視界與新園地。

This research aims to investigate feasibility of integrating geographic information and augmented reality related technologies and possibility of their application to “Historiophoty for the Public” in Taiwan. Firstly, in the respect of conceptual confirmation we assume that “Public History” and “Historiophoty” can be united as “Historiophoty for the Public” and roughly define it as “a study that can be taught to encourage the public to make or produce historic films for themselves and their communities”. We stress that everyone has right to use various kinds of visualized images or historical documents in order to describe time, people, events and sceneries for reconstruction of past memories associated with personal scenarios using videos or motion pictures that the public are familiar with. Secondly, we respectively estimate the technologies to make sure that they are qualified for utilization in Historiophoty. In respect of technical concerns, it seems sure that geographic information and its technology can be used to fulfill the objectives of making films in the Internet using visualized imagery in order for scenario modeling and integration of temporal and spatial platforms. In respect of practical instances, technology of augmented reality seems potential to be a friendly tool for Historiophoty from literature review of current published docu-ments and achievements from case studies worldwide. Finally, this study suggests that the potential of the two technologies are obvious and their capabilities in academic, private institutions and even individuals, are helpful to increase the trend that writing of history is no longer limited to text characters on paper records, but can be further extensively done by the general public with films and television media in order to create a new vision of the Taiwanese history from the public.
