「醫病也醫命」:民俗宗教的醫療行為及其概念

本文從醫療人類學觀點解釋「文化」相對性,並從「文化相對
性」演釋出「醫療相對性」。繼而,說明人類學家如何研究民俗醫療
與宗教醫療。接著,簡介臺灣多元醫療體系的歷史成因及其現況。然
後,以民俗醫療中常見的「收驚」治療儀式,與「栽花換斗」治療儀
式,來說明民間信仰中的魂魄觀念以及身體觀念。最後,本文闡釋多
元醫療有其相對性優點,政府、醫界與學界應該正視民俗宗教醫療之
研究與對話。
英文摘要
This paper interprets cultural relativism from the perspective of medical
anthropology, and then move to the explanation of medical relativism. Then,
medical pluralism in Taiwan is described with its historical background and
its present situation. The fifth and sixth sections of this paper are the demonstration of two popular symbolic healing rituals in Taiwan, soul calling -back
ritual and flower changing ritual. The former ritual is to show the notion of
soul and fate in folk beliefs, the latter ritual is to explicate the notion of body
in folk beliefs. Finally, this paper urges the government and the academic
world to concern the development of folk medicine in Taiwan.
