臺南永康機場的歷史只有短短7年（1940至1947年），卻見證了臺 灣民航的肇興與發展、太平洋戰爭的猛烈與無情、中華民國政府接收日 人飛行場的處置態度，也承載著不同世代、不同國籍人們的集體記憶。 過去由於永康機場名稱的混亂，以及政權移轉後文獻散佚殘缺、戰時地 圖與空照圖等資料分藏國內外與未開放，致後人難以窺探永康機場的全 貌。本文嘗試透過臺、美、日三方之檔案資料，以勾勒永康機場的過往 與發展情況。

Although the existence of Eikosho（Tainan）Airport is transient, 7 years only：1940-1947, it witnesses the dawn of Taiwaness civil aviation, shows out the fierce and ferocious Pacific Ocean War, and loads the collective memory in different countries and gernazations. The Taiwan Government-General’s confused denomination and the lacking of records, maps, and aerial photos should be accounted for the result：there was merely research of Eikosho Airport in the past. However, the authors try to break through the limitations：to find out the location and facilities of the port, to recount the stationed units and their practices, and to rebuild the history during wartime and the transformation after abolishment.
