本文從恆春阿美族人歷史遷徙的族群接觸過程，討論族群接觸經驗 如何建構族群認知。 本文採取的方法採用文獻整理與田野踏查兩者並重，歷史文獻提供 了區域族群人口比例與族群組成，田野資料則反映出族群群體間因接觸 所產生的認知，文獻與田野踏查兩者之間的對話由筆者提出時空脈絡觀 點的解釋，讓文獻提供的背景與調查所得之線索能夠合理的得到理解。 由恆春阿美族人歷史遷徙中自我表述，受到時空背景而有不同的族 群接觸與認知經驗，這些經驗並且成為恆春阿美族人自我表述的元素之 一。

The aim of this study is to explore the historic ethnic encounter experience for research the ethnic identity. This study method is base on the Hengchun Amis’s move from old village to new village at 1926.On the move event ,we focus on the new village area,old village area, and take on the path’s village area.Then I use the historic file and do some field work to know the third area’s ethnic relation.Finally,we know that area’s ethnic relation affect the ethnic group to express what Amis are And become to Amis’s identity .It’s a new topic and interesting
