This thesis will be the perspective of psychoanalysis anthropology and religious studies explore Taiwan folk religious phenomenon: “Will–Lingshan”(as a Development of Gnosis process) generated by the possible historical context. Involved in this historical context to the original development of the Chinese the folk wu(shaman) culture of the ancient period, the period during which it was influenced by translation of Chinese Buddhist scriptures culture and the Zen culture, and thus give birth to the important thinking of the Chinese folk religion of the soul, this thinking with the folk religion spread to Taiwan’s development, while the influence of the traditional view of Taiwanese folk religion of the hun and po souls, and injected into the human soul theological ideology. This point of view, not only established the concept of a soul, and also established multiple concepts Will–Lingshan Soul. These soul concepts include: the Soul Itself, the Soul of God, or Soul of the truly inspired people, and also implicit “Lingmai” (the source of the soul) point of view constituted through “dian–dimai” (point to the land soul of sources). Say their point of view of the stack in this step–by–step, gradually formed a set of in the Taiwan Will–Lingshan phenomenon Soulological traditional, and is covered by the concept of “god,” “the land” and “the ancestry” three part religious beliefs, just the concept of this religion, to be run through by the concept of Ling(Gnosis), then the formation of the multiplicity of Ling(Gnosis) and integrity.
