The KMT Party Archives Library, Academia Historica and The Institute of Modern History of the Academic Sinica were the most important archives in Taiwan. The reasons that The KMT Party Archives Library could achieve the reputation are based on the KMT archives moved from the mainland China in 1949 and the researchers worked in it. The ROC government could construct historical concepts by the archives deposited in The KMT Party Archives Library, where the most important materials related to the establishing and the process of the state building of ROC. This article constructed by the archives deposited in the KMT Party Archives Library, Academia Historica, and the publications of Government and newspapers to rebuild the process of the KMT Party Archives Library moved to Taiwan in 1949, including staffs and materials. I found the process is similar to moving to Chongqing in 1937.
