台灣本土語言主要有漢語和南島語。現存南島語可以分成14 種不相通 的語言；漢語除華語為標準語外，又有閩南語和客語兩種不相通的語言。本 文從語種分布與語言使用的立場，建立區劃理論，並根據田野調查資料繪製 台灣語種區劃地圖。
英文摘要
There are two linguistic families in Taiwan, Chinese and Austronesian. The Austronesian has 14 languages with over 40 divergent dialects. Except the standard language Mandarin, there are two languages of Chinese, Minnan and Hakka with some dialects each one.
This paper aims to take a regionalization and draw linguistic maps for the distribution of main varieties in Taiwan from the perspective of linguistic geography.
