本文從政治文化、文人思想和行為方面，闡述了魏晉士風產生的原因、特點及其嬗變；從美學觀念、詩歌內容、風格形式方面，闡述了魏晉詩風的特點及其嬗變。論文認為，魏晉時代突破了秦漢以皇權為核心的帝國文化模式，由依附皇權轉向依附政治集團，是士風變化的政治原因；由主體意識的社會化轉向主體意識的心靈化，是士風變化的心理原因；由追求生命價值轉向追求生命情調，是士風嬗變的基本趨向。從而導致在詩學觀念上，由注重詩歌社會功能而轉向注重其本體價值與美學特徵；在詩歌內容上，由反映現實而轉向抒寫心靈，再轉向表達玄理；在詩歌風格上，由注重風力之美而轉向表現生命意識，再轉向抒寫玄思，由繁縟轉向簡約，由穠麗轉向輕澹。

The thesis is about the study of the feature of scholar-officials and the style of poetry during Wei-Jin Dynasties. It expounds the causes and characteristic and trend that the feature of scholar-officials evolved in politics and culture of times, thought and behave of literati, and that the style of poetry evolved in aesthetic ideas of times and poetic comment and styles. Also it discusses two chief cause of the evolution of social politics that literati showed from depending on imperial power to depending on politic group, and of poetic psychology that they showed from caring for reality to caring for my life. And the feature of scholar-officials and the style of poetry developed basic direction and appeared basic characteristics in different times. The poetry appeared from mirroring social reality to expressing poetic self-feeling in poet's comment, and from playing close attention to strength of character to voicing self-life's consciousness and from expressing self-feeling and idea to flowing philosophical consciousness in poet's style. It is also appeared from overelaborate to terse and from luxuriant to light in poet's artistic form.
