唐代翰林學士創建於開元二十六年（738），遺憾的是，唐代自僖宗起戰亂頻仍，京師長安更迭遭破壞，因此末三期（874-907）翰林學士人選及其任職、免職起迄即罰正式記錄，形成一個空缺。二十世紀三、四十年代間，史學家岑仲勉先生撰文，將此空缺補起來，使我們對唐代翰林學士的研究有一個完整的史料結構，惜限於各種原因，疏失仍匪鮮。鑒於岑文每為學人援引，今將作此正補。

The Han Lin Xue Shi (the member of Imperial Academy) of the Tang dynasty started originally in the year of Kai-Yuan 26 (738 A.D.). It is a pity that after mperor Xi, the wars happened frequently and its capital Zhangan was damaged repeatedly. Thereby, the nomination and dismissal of the Han Lin Xue Shi three sovereign (874-907A.D.) of the Tang dynasty had no formal records. Between the 30's and the 40's, the historiographer, Cen Zhong-Mian, tried to fill the lack. That makes us have a complete documental structure of the Han Lin Xue Shi researching of the Tang dynasty. It is a pity that it still has much neglect needed to add resulting from many kinds of reasons. Because Cen's work is often cited by researchers, this essay tries to correct the mistakes and supplement textual proofs.
