研究律賦的學者早已觀察到北宋士人以律賦為承載議論的文體，並用它陳述關於政 事、天人和人事等議題的觀點。然而，近代思想史研究者對於北宋律賦所帶有的思想意 涵，以及它在北宋思想史中所扮演的角色尚未有足夠的關注。因此，本文試圖稍微補充 此研究上的不足，初步探究四位古文家的律賦──田錫 (940-1003)、王禹偁 (954- 1001)、范仲淹 (989-1052) 及歐陽修 (1007-1072) ──以闡明律賦在北宋思想史的重要 性。關於田錫和王禹偁，筆者分析其律賦的目的在於呈現律賦如何闡明他們本身的學術 思想。關於范仲淹和歐陽修，筆者將他們的律賦放在不同的歷史脈絡中來探究它所帶有 的思想意涵。本文屬於個案研究，筆者希望能藉此證明北宋律賦應被視為重要的思想史 資料，並且揭明它對思想史研究的潛在價值。

Scholars of Northern Song lüfu 律賦 have observed that the authors of the time wrote lüfu to voice arguments, resulting in compositions that expressed important opinions about significant intellectual issues of the time. Yet, despite this wellestablished consensus, and the survival of numerous lüfu by the leading intellectuals of the period, Northern Song lüfu have by and large failed to attract the interest of intellectual historians. In this paper, I attempt to address this gap in our understanding of the Northern Song intellectual milieu by conducting a preliminary examination of the function and import of lüfu during the period. I focus my analysis on the lüfu composed by four early Song proponents of guwen 古文: Tian Xi 田錫, Wang Yucheng 王禹偁, Fan Zhongyan 范仲淹 and Ouyang Xiu 歐陽修. In my examination of Tian Xi and Wang Yucheng, I look at how lüfu can shed light on their individual thought, whereas in my analysis of Fan and Ouyang, I attempt to situate their lüfu within larger historical contexts in an effort to determine their intellectual significance. Through these four case studies, I hope to demonstrate the value of lüfu as sources for Northern Song intellectual history and show that they have the potential to broaden our understanding of this important period.
